Dr. David Rosen

Dr. Rosen is the most experienced Ketamine provider in New Mexico.  Since 2016, he has performed more than 2, 000 ketamine infusions for treatment resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, addictions, and chronic pain.  As a full time Emergency Medicine Doctor at Christus St. Vincent’s Regional Medical Center., Dr. Rosen uses ketamine every day in his busy hospital practice as well.
At Blue Sky Ketamine, we try to minimize the “medicalization” of the ketamine treatment session.  Infusions are performed in our own private clinic.  Because Ketamine is an anesthetic, a physician is always present during your entire treatment session to monitor your rate and depth of respiration.  For patients with significant underlying medical conditions, additional monitoring equipment is available to continuously monitor a client’s heart rate, blood pressure and oxygen level.

Dr. David Rosen has been practicing Emergency Medicine in New Mexico since 2007. Prior to that, he served as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Emergency Medicine at Drexel University School of Medicine/Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Rosen received his Medical Degree at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and his board certification from the American Board of Emergency Medicine in 1999. He has been a member of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine since 2000.

Her undergraduate degree was in Food Science – with an emphasis on fermentation. Her design for a distillery was implemented as one of the first early breweries in China. Yiwen completed her Master’s Degree in Computer Science at St. Johns University in Philadelphia. Prior to moving to Santa Fe, Yiwen worked for the National Board of Medical Examiners. In Philadelphia, she met Dr. Rosen at a local dog park. Three months later, both Yiwen and Dr. Rosen packed their belongings (including two Yorkies and houseplants) into their Jeep Cherokee and moved to Santa Fe. Yiwen was the Practice Administrator at the Santa Fe Ketamine Clinic before establishing Blue Sky Ketamine. Since 2016, Yiwen has been working tirelessly to raise grant money to help offset the cost of treatment for our clients without the ability to pay for the full cost of treatment. This past year, Yiwen established the Blue Skye Foundation, dedicated to supporting the work of the Blue Sky Ketamine Clinic.

When she is not working to schedule/support our clients, Yiwen enjoys hiking, eating, and doting on her dogs, Maestro and Skye.
